A home design consultation is a meeting between a homeowner and a professional designer (myself) to discuss the homeowner’s design goals, preferences, and vision. During the consultation, the designer will typically ask the homeowner questions about their lifestyle, design preferences, and budget. The designer may also take measurements of the space and assess the existing furniture and decor. Based on the information gathered, the designer will provide recommendations for furniture, color schemes, lighting, and other design elements that will help the homeowner achieve their desired look and feel for their home. The consultation can take place either in person or virtually via a video call.
